Move over Charlie's Angels - here come "The Honky Tonk Angels," the fabulous production of a musical comedy by Ted Swindley, the author of the hit "Always Patsy Cline". Come with us on a hilariously funny, rollicking and touching journey that celebrates the women's voices in country music. Travel through the years with classics from Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn and Kitty Wells up to contemporary favorites by the likes of Dolly Parton, K.T. Oslin and Reba McEntire.
You will experience these and many other great songs through the eyes of the three country gals who meet on a bus on their way to Nashville to follow the "music city dream" of becoming a star. Romance, husband problems, independence and a little gospel thrown in for good measure result in a thrilling theatrical mixture of laughter, friendship and maybe a tear or two.
